Typography:
Specimen Study
History is a fundamental component of typography. I was tasked
with creating 1-3 pages for the Helvetica typeface to be put in a book of typefaces made by the members of my studio. I researched the rich history and modern implications of Helvetica, and designed three visuals to be engaging and informative. My design choices were made to honor identity of the clean and historic typeface.
Process:
In design, good results come from strong ideation. I spent extensive hours
researching and iterating 16 drafts of the book page so I could get the strongest
final product that I could.
