Instructed to design postcards from a fictional location, I chose to make cards from the Village Hidden in the Leaves from the anime Naruto. My design journeystarted in sixth-grade from drawing Naruto characters in my first sketchbook, so creating Naruto-inspired design work again was a full circle moment for me. Inspired by Japanese art, I made water color illustrations in Procreate, arranged them with other elements and textures in Photoshop, and combined image with type in Illustrator.
